This cache is located just off U.S. Hwy 95, along the old highway.
You can exit the highway at milepost 15, drive past the gravel pit up to the cache location. If the barbed wire fence is up and in place, you have permission to open the gate and enter the area. Just remember to close the gate behind you as cattle & sheep graze in this area during certain times of the year.
This cache is placed in the area of the Canyon County amateur radio repeater site on this ridge.
Several years back, K7ROG helped to put a community amateur radio repeater into service near this location. Since then Canyon County has continued to maintain this repeater for the benefit of and use of those amateur radio enthusiasts in the Treasure Valley. This repeater can also be used to assist with emergency communications in a disaster.
From the cache site you will have a good view of the Squaw Creek canyon and the Treasure valley.
The cache is located just off of the old hwy and you can easily drive your car to the location. The old road there is wide enough to turn around so you can easily return to the highway.
Plese make sure the lid is tight and rehide the cache so it isn't visible when you are finished.
