Geocache Description:

Who would have known that you could find a 70+ foot waterfall in the suburbs of San Rafael just a couple of hundred feet from parking.

Since the waterfall is seasonal and appears after rain, rather than being the result of a year-round spring, you have to visit this cache within about 4 or 5 days of a decent amount of rain to see the waterfall. At any other time you probably wont find this location very interesting.

As you drive up, the unmarked paved path will be a little to your right between two houses. It's not the more obvious trail marked by the yellow-diamond signs that will be on your left.

You will be looking for a plastic jar covered in camo tape. You'll have to cross the creek to get the cache. No rock climbing is required. Expect your GPSr to be fairly worthless in the narrow canyon. Use the hint instead.
After you've visited the main falls, if you'd like to explore the area more, return to the road and then follow the other path that is marked with the yellow signs. You'll find a pleasant walk alongside a creek that takes you to some smaller seasonal falls. It's also worth a visit soon after some rain. Here's what they look like when the water is running.
