Hi

While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

Geocaches which have not been maintained or the owner has not responded will not be taken out of the archive

Gravdalsfjellet - 351moh

 

 

Det blir sagt at Gravdalsfjellet er Bergens glemte fjell og det er nok noe i dette. Du vil ikke møte mange turgåere på Gravdalsfjellet i forhold til de andre fjellene rundt Bergen. Til Gravdalsfjellet kan man komme fram mange kanter, men siden dette er tredje delen i en multi regner jeg med at du vil komme fra Eikelifjellet. Er du her på tur på søndager er Viggohytten åpen 10-14, og du kan få kjøpt kaffe og vafler. Viggohytten ble bygget av to kjuagutter i 1915 og overtatt av Sportsklubben Viggo ti år senere. Nå er den nyrestaurert og i fin stand. Leies kan den også.

Cachen inneholder koordinatene   F   ,   C   og   D   til " Fjell i dalen #5 - Løvstakken (GC18BE2)" så husk å notere disse. Neste sett med koordinater finner du i "Fjell i dalen #4 - Olsokfjellet" som er ca. 1.5km unna dersom du følger stiene.

 

 

It's said that Gravdalsfjellet is Bergens forgotten mountain and there is some truth to this. You wont meet many up here compared to the other mountains surrounding Bergen. There are many ways to ge to Gavdalsfjellet, but since this is part three in a multicache I assume that you are coming from Eikelifjellet. If you are up here on Sundays you will pass Viggohytten on your way up. Viggohytten is open on Sundays from 10-14 and you can buy coffee and waffles. Viggohytten was build by two "kjuagutter" in 1915 and was handed over to the sport club "Viggo" ten years later. It's newly restored and in good condition. It can also be rented.

The cache contains the coordinates   F   ,   C   and   D   for " Fjell i dalen #5 - Løvstakken (GC18BE2)" so remember to write them down. The next coordinates are located in "Fjell i dalen #4 - Olsokfjellet" which is approximately 1.5km away if you follow the path.
