Geocache Description:

Use Geoscouting to Promote Scouting
Located near the Martin Street service entrance to the Waukesha County Historical Museum. Name modified Dec 25, 2010 to reflect series name needed for Geocaching Merit Badge.

An Eagle Scout project was done at this location by a candidate from Troop 159, sponsored by St Mary's Catholic Church. He supervised the painting of the railing leading up the steps to the entrance and did much clearing and landscaping around the entrance area. With winter the landscaping does not show well, but the railing stands out. This is just another example of the type of projects that Eagle candidates supervise in order to earn the rank. The Life rank is the last rank a Scout earns before Eagle. While he is a Life Scout he works on his Eagle project and has to earn another 10 merit badges before he qualifies to have his Eagle Board of Review. Permission to place this cache has been granted by the acting director of the museum.
