Easy 2 wheel drive access on gravel road. Turn off the Murray Valley Highway at the sign Shelley Forest Camp, Avondale Road.
The cache is located at an old homestead site called Avondale, the only evidence of the homestead is a magnificent garden containing exotic tree's, shrubs rock walls and a water tank.
The Garden was established in the 1950's, the property was sold many year later to the forestry and turned into a pine forest plantation known as Shelley Forest.
You can camp in the area at no charge, but you are not permitted to camp in the gardens it self.
See is believing, its a botanical garden in the Australian bush.
The Cache is a 200ml Sistema container, painted black containing Geocaching pin and patch.
