This cache came about as I was looking for new paths for Roxys'
walks and it looked a good circuit. It turned out to be not very
dog friendly but is still a pleasant wander and apart from the
indignity of being hoisted over the stiles, Roxy had a good walk.
It is a short walk of about 1½ mile on main road, lane and fields.
There are 5 stiles in total and two small streams to
cross.
The coordinates above are a suggested parking place on the
Yelverton WWII Airfield. From there, cross the road and head down
the lane to Axtown and the first waypoint.
Waypoint 1: How many white socks does the horse have? A
Waypoint 2: When were these gates made? BCDE
Waypoint 3: How many cars in the yard? F
Waypoint 4: Construction type? GH
Waypoint 5: How many boards across the top of the ladder? J
Waypoint 6: Number on Pole 1468-K
The cache is a small clip lock container and only contains a log.
There is room for geocoins or small TB's.
