Geocache Description:

Dry - Flat - Level. Close to water - care needed.

The park, as the name suggests, has a large pond as its main attraction. The pond is a favourite with waterfowl and the park itself is well used by local dog walkers. There is a childrens play area and public toilets. However, although the park is very well kept, the toilets are not always availabe and so should not be relied upon.

Care should be taken with young children and/or non swimmers due to the open water. The cache is located close to the waters edge but the surface is flat and secure. With care there will be no need to stray too close to the edge.

The park is not open to the public 24 hours. As a rough rule of thumb this means it is locked during the hours of darkness. Detailed closing times can be found at (visit link)

Cycling is not permitted within the park's grounds.

A beautiful little open space just off the Purley Way and well worth a visit if in the area.
