Geocache Description:

UPDATE:  Due to easy border crossings between the UAE and Oman only being available to UAE and GCC nationals, I am marking this cache as being in Oman. Previously it was available to UAE residents of all nationalities but this is no longer the case and you may have difficulty finding the cache if you are not a UAE or GCC national.

This cache is hidden in the mountains of Oman. A 4X4 is recommended to reach the cache, though is certainly not required. You will be able to drive most of the way on a tarred road, and then a short distance on a gravel track. The parking area is just off to the side of the track. From the parking area you will have around five minutes to walk to the cache. The cache is fairly easy to reach, though like all caches in the mountains you should be careful with your footing.

The original contents of the cache were as follows:

TRADING ITEMS: A frog pencil sharpener, a pink tumbler, a pink ashtray, purple and pink candles, a dolphin ashtray, a white dinner bell, a bright purple organizer, gel elephant sticker things, golf tees, a wrist whistle, a pack of 10 magnets, a compass (with whistle and thermometer), a set of chopsticks, a cheap Swiss army knife, a ceramic frog’s head, a ceramic baby, a ceramic floating thing, a penguin appliqué, a yellow bandana, a frog ashtray, a maroon Buddha statue, a wooden snowman ornament, pink and blue bird clips, a wooden sandglass, a set of gold stickers, and my TFTC coin to start its travels.

NON-TRADING ITEMS: 4 pencils, a sharpener, the logbook and the geocache note.

Why the C. C. C. C. cache? As a reward for guessing the name correctly I will send the first correct cacher 3 new, unactivated geocoins - feel free to suggest names in your logs (once you have seen the contents this will be easier), or just by adding a note to the cache page.

HAPPY GEOCACHING!!
