By Cariboo Lake Picnic Area
This is the 7th of a series of 7 geocaches located in Hornepayne and along Highway 631 from White River to Hornepayne. I had to take my son to catch the Via Rail Train at Hornepayne to return to college. We decided to set-up several caches in the area, namely because there were no caches in Hornepayne or on the road to Hornepayne from the south.
This cache is located north of White River near Cariboo Lake. The cache is located above the ground. It is also well hidden so that it may be difficult to find (The snow can be deep in the winter getting to the cache location).
THE CACHE CONTAINER WAS REPLACED ON APRIL 7/10 WITH ANOTHER SMALL CAMOUFLAGED CONTAINER WITH ROUND ENDS. IT IS IN A DEEP HIDING "HOLE" WHICH WILL TAKE A REACH OF PROBABLY 2 FEET TO RETRIEVE THE CACHE CONTAINER.
(Original cache container was a small camouflaged plastic bottle. The original cache contained a old British Penny, one old British half-penny, compass keychain, logsheet and a pencil)
Stealth may be required at times during the year to get to the cache location. This area looks like it can be well used as a camping area in the summer.
Congratulation to "Pabl0" for their 1st find and their 1st FTF
