Even after Geocaching for a while it still amazes me by some of the clever, enjoyable, challenging and sometimes evil caches I find. Some of the hides have excellent camouflage jobs. Others you wonder what made a person put their cache in a certain spot. Sometimes you come across a cache that is not at all where you thought it should be or what you pictured it would look like.
I’ve come across many great ideas that someday I would like to incorporate into my hides. That being said this is one of them.
Generally, a cache name has a clue or hidden meaning like a nearby sight, an experience or a sound. A while ago I found a cache by 4wheelin_fool that was not only fun finding but you were also able to name it.
I am starting this cache with the name “NAME THAT CACHE’’ and have placed it in a scenic interesting spot. It’s up to you to rename it. When you log the find tell me what you would like OUR cache to be called. This will be the name of the hide for at least 5 days. After that time I will change it to the next visitor’s request.
It might take a while but everyone’s cache name will be listed as long as they are family friendly.
