Westchester Bridge Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This geocache is on the Airline Trail in the Westchester section of Colchester, CT. The Airline Trail is an old railroad bed which is now used for walking, biking and horse riding. It is named the Airline Trail because when they originally made the railroad the land was elevated for drainage purposes and the passengers had a treetop view while riding the train. It seemed like they were riding in an airplane. The trail in the area is flat.
The cache is a micro and may be very difficult to find. Bring a pen or pencil since the container is too small to hold one.
Parking is on Old Hartford Rd. which is very close to Rt 2, Exit 16.
