A night cache near Lake Desire. Read the instructions carefully for success.
This is not at the posted coordinates but they will lead you to parking. Use your flashlights and follow the glints on the way in. It's just you and your GPS on the way out.
If you see red glints, the cache is half way between you and them, tread lightly.
Center the lid and close it all the way before locking the flaps. Don't force it or the little tabs on the flaps will get bent and then it won't stay closed. If this happens, just let me know.
It's only 1-2 steps off the trail, try not to trample the foliage, save it to arrange back in front of the cache. Save the leaves and stuff on top of the cache to scatter back on top to help camouflage the container.
I modified the route and glints June 6, 2018 and a little April 2024. I hope you like it. I try to make the glints straight forward and easy to follow but a couple of spots may be a little obtuse if glints disappear or get covered by growth. You should still find the way quickly. Let me know if you think the area has changed over time making it hard to follow, especially with plant growth. Time for me to stroll to the cache: 5 minutes. You at night: longer time.

Other stuff: If this was a daytime cache I would rate it as 2/2.5 difficulty. Stay on the trails, no need to go cross country. The trail WILL be muddy in spots unless it's summer. Take a geobuddy or several for safety and use good sense. Be discrete at parking as there are houses nearby. Have fun!
