Geocache Description:

This is a little multi cache, a 2 miles walk along the beach side of Marina di Modica.

I use to spend parts my winters at Marina di Modica and created this one for friends of mine. All the way is sunny and mag get extremely hot in summer.

How to go to this Cache: Marina di Modica is about 13 miles south of Modica and 23 miles south of Ragusa on the seaside. Our tour starts in the center

The coordinates of that cache: N36° 42.AB2, E:14° 45.CA4

The entrance is on the west side of the area, and the area might be officially inaccessable (the status frequently changes). Some people don't care about it. However: Take care! All of the area is dangerous, especially on windy days there is some risk of stones falling down from the building or it's chimney! You may also fall into holes: There are several holes inside and on the east side of the building. Keep an eye on your children.

The building had been a factory for bricks with an enormous oven in the east part of it. The area is nice, you may see Narcissus Poeticus and many other flowers in there during winter- or springtime. I like the building and it’s architecture, I love the sea side, the waves roaring in the caves and smashing against the rocks on stormy days.

As I was asked: They made clay bricks in that old factory. The large object situated in the middle next to the chimney is the former kiln. Unfortunately I can't remember when it was closed, but I guess in the 1960s

It was a set for "Inspector Montalbano" movie in the late 1990s.
