Geocache Description:

Down by the border, down Mexico way... well not quite.
A Virtual Geocache.

Central Coast Geocachers of CaliforniaDesign your own urban legand about what it is that big round radio tower does! Of course this is optional if you would just like to take a picture of yourself and post it to the site.

One of California's premier beach bum communities. Make sure to take into account the tide, surf level, water contamination hazards, and weather conditions before heading out to this one. If conditions arn't good then you might want to think twice.

Low tide is preferable as if you go at high tide you may get wet... very wet.

Warning: Do not procede too much further north up the beach otherwise you will be finding yourself detained by the Military Police. Don't confuse there not being fences with there being an open access policy. The Sec Nav really likes that round thing for whatever reason.

Enjoy the views and the beach!

Note (12 November 2001): The cache has disappeared again! It's been confirmed by Doc O' and Warsaw. Instead of replacing the cache, we're going to make this one into a virtual cache since the area is still interesting and the views are nice if the weather is good. We will place another geocache in the area sometime in the near future.

Note (7 October 2001): The cache has been replaced! The cache was pillaged sometime at the end of September, but has been replaced as of 7 October 2001. So go find it! Enjoy!

Cache is safe for adults, kids and dogs. Cache is night-time accessible. Dogs must be on a leash, and please pick up after them. Children should be under supervision as the area can become dangerous if common sense is not heeded.
