Park at the gate. Public access at all times. Can be wet in places. Pretty much flat and mostly wooded. The cache is in the old Speir's school grounds; planted by the Earl of Eglinton's head gardener in 1887. See Speir's school wikipedia entry for more local history details, photographs, etc.
An average sized plastic container. Snap clips and standard letter enclosed with log book, a pen and swap items.
