IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

mtn-man: I would agree that this cache should be archived. If you want to place a new one after the upcoming event are over then we could look at it at that time. If you replace this cache it could also be unarchived. For now it would be best to remove this cache completely from any potential pocket query search.

NOTE: If you have any questions, do not reply to the archive note email. Click on the link to go to the cache page and click on my name in the archive log at the bottom of the page. You can then send me an email regarding the cache. Please send me a link to the cache in question so I will know which cache it is regarding.

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

They built it and now you can come to Vancouver's newest Island.

NOTE: PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ACCESS MAY CURRENTLY BE AVAILABLE ONLY ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

Watch the Athlete's Village grow before your very eyes! Kids of all ages will enjoy watching history in the making!
This is an incredible and pristine little spot with some great views. You can relax and watch all that happens on, around and even in this busy waterway.
Posted signs advise of short delays as gates may close briefly to allow machinery access. No big deal.....Vancouverites know delays, aka 'The Cambie Line'. LOL Getting on to this Island might require some fancy footwork. You can step, hop, skip or jump to, on and across each of the strategically placed flat rocks or take your time on the rounded and looser stones. Pathways on the Island are clearly marked so please stay on them as Landscaping continues. The Seawall paths that pass by the Island are level asphalt.

BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT PLEASE. Cache has room for small trade items.

FTF: Bison Tube and Pewter container(look inside!).
