I am very sad to say that the cache had to be moved from original location due to a fire at Ground zero. Original coordinates were N 32° 46.820 W 114° 29.837. Cache has been moved away from the water to a place that has very little chance that anybody other then a hunter or a geocacher would ever walk by. The cache and all what was inside was destroyed. I was really looking forward to developing that film. Now it is lost. The original description is below.
This Cache is dedicated to the memory of My Cousin Dee Glover. I attended the Memorial service right after I placed the cache. Dee was a retired Cotton farmer in the Yuma and Bard area and a Veteran of the US Navy. He fished all over the Yuma and Bard CA area pretty much for ever (OK well maybe not that long). This spot is one of my favorites because it has a nice view and it is easy to get to... and it has fish too. :)
Inside the box for the FTF are 3 travel bugs, a golf ball, misc stuff and a disposable camera. Please take your picture with the lake and the Date trees in the background and return it to its original location either as is or better then you found it. Thanks. The road is dirt and has some washouts so dont try going the whole way in your car. If you do, be careful. A High Clearance Vehicle is recommended. 4x4 not required. It should be an easy find. Easiest approach is from the South. The North approach is a nice ride but just as bumpy and a little bit futher. Enjoy the Hunt.
