The Bald
Eagle is a majestic bird, and this small lake is a great
place for them to hang out. Look to the SW of the cache and
you’ll spy an eagle’s nest (and hopefully one of its
inhabitants). Also nearby is a hand launch boat landing –
bring a canoe or kayak and enjoy this area from the water if
you have time. You can park by the Warren Town Hall and walk
along the edge of the road to the cache or park very near the
site along the edge of the road. As an aside, the closed area
sign near the cache is only for hunting activities (that is,
hunting is closed here during a good part of the season).
Cache is a small lock-n-lock.
This spot was one of the first I
ever visited while geocaching (and one of the reason’s why I
love to cache), thanks to bobcatw98. For those of you who
visited Bobcat’s Warren B. Landing cache, this spot will be
very familiar and worth another
visit.
