KR 3 Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Footings of varied types, Elevation changes mild to drastic, but trails are obvious.
Plastic snack jar, camo'ed, wide mouth screw top. Notepad, pencil, trashbag, band-aids (asstd), matches,a couple of goodies, etc... and a FTF bonus. This cache was placed while on a horseback trail ride, so it is accessible to other horseback trail riders, gro-po hikers, and possibly mtn bikes. Footings go from packed to loose; sand, woodland earth, shale/granite, gravel and stone washed-out areas and small streams(can be crossed easily). These sort of depend on what approach you use, but nothing "impassable".
Access/parking- there are alot of places around, just use the photo/map w/ the "hybrid" feature to get ya started, depending on where you decide to enter from, you might want a "Watershed Permit" (on Echo Lake Rd) as you might pass through such areas but there are common trails to the cache. The area that the cache is in is piblic and at border of a newly designated GreenAcres area, but anyways the cache will be on public (municipal or GA) land.
