Geocache Description:

This cache is located a little way off of a trail that is seldom used. The trail is a bit rough at times and the climb to the cache, when you leave the trail, could be a bit hard in wet/snowy weather.

This is along one of the many trails in Hixon forest. I have been out to the rock outcrop on this trail many times by never realized that it continued down the bluff. This trail has great views of the city and you will have a good chance of seeing some wildlife.

The easiest way to get to this trail is to hike in from the Rim Of The City Rd. but I would recommend starting from the Hixton forest parking lot. Its a long hike but it is worth it!

The cache contains a log book and small trade items including 4 TBs (at the time of placement). One of the TBs is brand new! Please, small trade items only.

Note: There is a trail that goes down the bluff but it isn't the most direct route. You may need to go a bit out of your way but there is no need to bushwack for more than a few hundred feet, unless you want to.
