Warrior Trail - James Turner Reservoir - No bush-wacking needed!
This cache was adopted by Cat_Fish after nearly four years of ownership by Chickmunk! Thank you Chickmunk for establishing this great cache!
"On the Line" refers to the fact that this cache is right on the state border between Massachusetts and Rhode Island- anyone who has grown up in Seekonk knows that Seekonk, MA really is just a satellite of Rhode Island. In fact, the "Fish" part of Cat_Fish grew up on the Rhode Island side and the "Cat" part on the other.
This cache is accessible from multiple locations. It is part of the Turner Reservoir Loop trail and parking is available on route 114- this is a great location to park at for a longer walk and has great, scenic views of the reservoir. There also are closer locations to park by that will enable a much shorter hike to the cache.
Do NOT attempt after dark! 1)This Trail abuts PRIVATE homes! 2) The trail is NOT well-marked and impossible to follow after dark. 3) The cache is in close proximity to the reservoir.
Cache is a 2-cup sized camouflaged lock-and-lock container. It contains a log book and enough space for a few small trackables. Please practice catch and release - if you take a TB please leave one for the next to find! Hopefully this will remain a safe place for trackables to be exchanged. All we ask is that each cacher log a discovery for each trackable if they choose not to retrieve it!
