Geocache Description:

Located in Timberlane Park. Park at N43 30.709 W94 28.084 Take the trail to within 30' of the cache.

Located in Martin County, Timberlane Park is an interesting and beautiful area. The trail will take you to within 30' of the cache. If you happen to find the cache in the late summer or early fall, be sure to check out the apple orchard nearby. They have the best Honeycrisp apples in the county.

This property was purchased in 1966 from Mary Sargent by the Martin County Conservation Club and by the County in 1971. In 1968 the State bought 5.4 acres to include public access to South Silver Lake. The park was divided into woodlot parcels in the early part of the century. The southeast side was owned by the Girl Scouts from the 1930s to 1970. There is a DNR-maintained boat landing and dock giving access to South Silver Lake.

Cache is a Rubbermaid container with a logbook and some small trade items.
