Located at Lakeview Nature center. Entrance is 1/8 mile west of Spring Lakes entrance off of N. 1500 Rd.
Lakeview Nature Center is a year round facility that is seated on 350 acres of prairie, woodlands, meadows and wetland. This area is home to wild turkey, foxes, eagles, red tailed hawks, bluebirds, songbirds, white-tailed deer and much, much more. The Prairie Path allows visitors to come and enjoy the fifty-five acres of newly restored prairie along with the 50 plus nesting boxes spread out along the path. These nesting boxes are helping to reintroduce the once common bluebird. Nature programs run throughout the year here and are registered for at the Macomb Park District Office. The Nature Center has interactive displays, trails, picnic areas, a frog filled pond, nice new fire circle, butterfly garden, and is a bird watchers paradise. Come here to enjoy the outdoors and discover what the Nature Center has to offer.

Wed. - Fri. 1pm-5pm
Sat. 10am-5pm
Sun. 1pm-5pm
Gates usually close around sunset and open at sunrise.
