Top of hill at entrance to Naseby
Placed while on annual holiday by my son and myself at base of a named tree at the top of the Welcome In track at Naseby.
Screw top jar with log, pencil, pen and swaps.
Hope you enjoy the view! Planted in 1874 by 13 year old Elizabeth Brown who is buried at the Naseby Cemetery with her brother.
Some of the larger specimens of these trees can grow to a height of 30m and one has been estimated to be over 4000 years old.
