A small cache located in Cooks Plaza, Kaiti Hill. A lookout with wide panoramic views of Poverty Bay and Gisborne.
Please take the time to read the plaque next to Cook’s statue, it makes for some interesting reading.
The cache is a small screw top pill bottle with logbook, stash note and silica gel only. The well camo’ed container is hidden 1m above ground level, in the forks of the prominent pohutukawa. PLEASE bring your own pencil, and re-hide well. Stealth required, muggles can turn up unexpectedly.
