A nice walk in the Waitakere ranges, which could be combined with other caches in the area.
I found this spot while I was exploring one day. One of those I wonder where that track goes moments.
There is a swimming hole nearby, so bring your togs and towel but watch out for the eels.
The walk to the cache can be slippery as it involves walking across rocks. So watch your footing and tell someone reliable where you are going.
The cache is under New Zealand Bush, so you may want to take the spoiler photo along to help you find it.
If you follow the stream you will be at the top of Mokoroa falls. The falls can be viewed from a lookout at S 36° 50.194 E 174° 28.304.
