15-min walk from sgl parking lot. some up and down but smooth and clear walking all the way.
SGL parking lot is one mile off paved road[St Rt 53 ]. Going north on rt. 53 turn right 5/10 of a mile north of Frugality. Then one mile to the parking lot. There are no gates so this section of game lands road is always open.You will get mudddy if it rains and stuck if it snows, other wise cars are OK. Parking lot cooordinates--N40 39.272 W078 28.817 Also, you will be walking right past an old abandoned mine. It's on the right about half way between the parking area and the cache. The crumbling timbers of the loading dock are right along the trail and the mine entrance, now blocked by an abandoned mine cart, enters the side of the hill just above and behind them. The mine is a very small one but interesting. It and the water surprise at the cache site make for an interesting walk.
Please remember that this cache is located on State Game Lands and it is highly recommended that you wear blaze ORANGE during hunting season.
