Geocache Description:

Dirt and gravel, but flat ground.

The cache is a magnetized Godiva Chocolates tin, containing a log and pen. Because I'm feeling generous, FTF gets a five dollar bill. After you find it, stay awhile. Look east and listen. This area is being developed by the City of Yuma through private contributions and federal grant money as a wetlands. Several hundred acres were reclaimed from overgrown non-native vegetation, homeless camps and garbage and is now home to dozens of species of migratory birds and waterfowl. Besides doves, cranes, various species of ducks and other water birds, you'll see golden eagles, several species of hawk, and even a few endangered species like the Yuma Clapper Rail and the Southwest Willow Flycatcher if you're lucky. Take some pictures and post them.
