NZ Dotterels & Oystercatchers live in abundance in this
idyllic setting, in fact the whole of Opoutere has a timeless and
untouched aspect to it. The beach is a 5 km untouched stretch of
sand , safe swimming with good surf at times.
Cache is a small 1 litre sistema container containing the usual
goodies, logbook, pencil etc., its a small way off the path, has a
bit of camo attached. Approach from the high side.
