Geocache Description:

The only tough thing about this cache is the parking. There is parking at South Seas for guests, parking at the shopping strip and paid parking at the beach. You must sign the log to get credit for your find.

DO NOT LEAVE THE PARKING LOT TO SEARCH FOR THIS CACHE. The cache is in the parking lot near the sign. Do not trespass.

Placed to commemorate the Everglades Coalition Conference 2008 at South Seas. What happens in the Everglades affects what happens on this beach. When fresh water is sent down the Caloosahatchee from Lake O - excessive nutrients cause red algae drift and red tide. Save the Everglades and Lake O and you save the beaches.
