We first discovered the trail leading to this cache when looking
for
Scoobert's Bearing 136 cache. That's all we did--look--because
even though we literally stood on the cache, we never saw it and
logged a DNF. So we LEFT to come back later.
Knowing where we would be returning to, and wanting to discover
the rest of the trail, we brought a cache to hide. I thought to get
there we would be taking the first LEFT on the trail up the hill.
Imagine the look on my face when we veered RIGHT past that turn and
continued up the hill...to the second LEFT.
Heading west on the "right" trail, we soon began to see our
direction take us LEFT of bearing 136, then LEFT some more until we
looked back and saw a magnificent view of Folsom Lake.
Thinking I would enjoy a nice snack of cashews, I opened up my
backpack to find...NOTHING LEFT! Now, how did those get taken
out???
