Covert Cache Traditional Cache
The Hugills: We are moving house and will be unable to continue to maintain Covert Cache, so it is now being archived. Thanks to all those who have found the cache over the past seven years. It has been very enjoyable to read all the logs, and a joy to know it has brought pleasure to others.

The cache is hidden on a designated footpath bordering a field. There are a couple of fairly steep short climbs to the cache location, plus a stile which can be bypassed. However, the terrain can get very muddy round the stile.
Parking is available in the lay-by at N 52° 38.580 W001° 02.572 or in the nearby 'David Wilson Homes' estate.
The walk to the cache takes about 10 minutes and offers fine views of both the city of Leicester and open countryside.
The cache is a standard plastic box containing the usual logbook, pens, etc.
The village of S******** includes a medieval church and hall, a Co-op and a newsagent. For a more extensive circular walk, follow the footpath up past the farm and back along the eponymous lane.
