Geocache Description:

Palace Stables, Armagh, well signposted with brown heritage signposts.

The Palace Stables Heritage Centre is a restored Georgian stable block set in the Palace Demesne in the heart of Armagh City. The Centre is located on the Palace Demesne situated next to the impressive Primate's Palace, formerly the home of Archbishops of the Church of Ireland from 1770 until the 1970s. It has beautiful gardens and the ruins of an old Fransciscan Friary church. The Centre is open freely all year round.

Jonathan Swift, author and clergyman, spent time in the Armagh area and his most famous work 'Gulliver’s Travels' is encapsulated in the fantasy ' Land of Lilliput '. <

The cache is a medium sized tablock box and when placed contained log book, pen/pencil, stash note and usual swappable items. As it is placed in a wooded area the clue has been made easy.
