Ammo Can
This is another cache to compliment "Backyard Wilderness." Hopefully, the adventurous GeoCacher will brave this part of Wild West Delray in search of the coveted "footTRAX GeoCoin", and a couple of Awesome Travel bugs too.
This is truly an interesting area full of amazing foliage and Bird life. In spite of it's proximity to the Turnpike, it's remarkably serene here. If you like walking through the woods, you'll LOVE this location.
It's suggested that you Mountain Bike your way to this wooded tract entrance instead of driving. Some have driven, but you need to be careful of the soft sand on the road to this area so you don't get stuck. Make sure you have clearance under your vehicle if you drive. It really is worth the trip.
If you need the exercise like I do, it makes for a great day hike from Atlantic Avenue, (about a mile off Atlantic.)
Bring extra water, and maybe a snack or lunch. Enjoy the Flora, it's a peaceful place, good for the soul.
