Regular (Ammo Can) Cache at a beautiful spot
Lake Towerrining is an oasis in the desert (during summer anyway) that comes as a bit of a suprise. The size of the lake and its location are fairly unusual.
If you are planning a visit on a warm day, pack your bathers/trunks/swimmers/budgy smugglers because its a lovely spot to cool off. If you are in the habit of taking your ski boat on your geocaching expeditions(?)then you will really love this cache!
For the day visitor the public picnic area is well equiped with grassed areas, gas BBQ's and a new toilet block.
For those on extended geocaching adventures, a camping area (cartaker on site) is right on the lakes edge.
Take a moment, or perhaps a day or two, to enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.
