Off... This Cache container, which is standard a key holder,
IS NOT Located On The Railroad Tracks, So PLEASE, Do Not
Look There!
New Oxford, founded in 1792, is a small
attractive town just east of Gettysburg. It was a stop on
both the stagecoach route and the railroad line between Pittsburgh
and Philadelphia. Today, the town square is quiet most of the
year except for the steady stream of traffic on Route 30.
But, it has not forgotten its past. Many of the town's old
buildings have been preserved
The railroad station
is actually a museum operated by the model railroad club. It
is only open the first and third Sundays of the month,
April-December. Admission is free. So, for an
extra special treat while geocaching, stop in to see the engineer
running the show OR even blow the train whistle! The kids will love
that as I know Pnut could spend a DAY in the
place!
As
always, please place cache container, which is a key-holder box,
back in as good as or better position than when you found it to
keep the fun going for many cachers after you.
Thanks for
taking time to check out our cache.
