Well I suppose everybody has to have one of these. And it was the only logical place to put one at this location. This cache is located at the new facility for the Northeast Knox Utility District. If you live in Corryton, Mascot or anywhere in northeast Knox County this is where your water comes from, and you can come here to pay your bill. Some history:
Northeast Knox Utility District is located on the north side of the Holston River, northeast of the corporate boundary of the City of Knoxville. Incorporated in 1955 and in service since 1959, the District has obtained water since its inception from the Holston River at mile 10.5, upstream from Legg Creek. Water was distributed to 100 initial customers over a service area of approximately 40 square miles. Now in addition to serving a residential population of nearly 15,000 in northeast Knox County, the District also sells water to neighboring Luttrell-Blaine-Corryton Utility District and to the City of Maynardville.
Cache is a small lock and lock, hidden in a common place. Bring your own pen. There is room for very small items, and we have put in some pottery necklaces we made, for starters. Difficulty rating of 1.5 only for those who have never seen this type.
