As one arrives in Saskatchewan from Manitoba, this would be the first cache that one can search for before adventuring onward to their destination.
Just before the CFL 2007 Grey Cup Championship game, Brad Wall, Premier of Saskatchewan, and Gary Doer, Premier of Manitoba, made a CFL Grey Cup bet that the loser will have to eat some humble pie in a very public place. The loser must erect a sign that will read "Welcome to the Home of the 2007 Grey Cup Champions". The Saskatchewan Roughriders beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the rest is history.
As of 2009 the sign is no longer there. Not sure where it went but the Winnipeg Blue Bombers may have picked it up as they did build a new stadium.
This is a secure cache and is a safe haven for travellers. You will need to remember this code (00 - 10 - 32) to access the cache.
At times this place can be a "muggle-fest" so always be "on-guard".
All good cachers will always carry a writing implement and also replace the cache "exactly" where they found it!
