Cabin Fever Respite
This
will be an informal get-together at our home in Rawlins. For those
of you who attended the post-Brownbag barbeque last summer, you
know where to come. For others, simply follow your GPS using the
listed coordinates. We have a side door where you can enter the
house off of our deck. This door is located on the east side of our
house (Rodeo Street). This would be the preferred entry as there is
more parking here but you can certainly use the front door as well
if you prefer. The event will begin at 1:00 pm so you will have
ample time to get here and so the highways will be in their optimum
condition. You will have an opportunity to trade TB's and coins and
we will have snacks. If you would like to bring a snack of some
type to contribute, feel free in doing so but it is not necessary.
If you have coins you wish to let us look at, bring them along, I
will have mine here for people to check out. There will be door
prizes and a couple new caches in town to search for. Hope to see
you there and here's hoping the weather will cooperate and the
roads will be open and passable. We look forward to seeing anybody
who can make it. We thought this might be a good break from the
winter doldrums and maybe you will to.
It is impossible to tell what it will
be like on Saturday but as of today (Tuesday January 22, 2008) it
is sunny but cold (10 degrees). I haven't seen a forecast but
hopefully the roads will be open and we will have a few attendees.
If you do not wish to brave the roads we will certainly understand
but at the same time encourage anybody to come if they feel
comfortable doing so. We will supply drinks, sandwich fixins and
chips. We will have our fingers crossed and hope to see you on
Saturday. Please, if you intend to attend please log so we have an
idea how many to possibly plan for. Thanks!
