Rakvere liiklustõkestiks on sümbolilooma tarva järgi 2004 aastast tarvakesed, mida pääsevad korra aastas juuni algul linnapäevade aegu kirjuks võõpama kümme võistluse alusel valitud last.
Esimesed tarvakesed pandi üles keskväljakust bussijaama juurde viivale jalakäijate promenaadile, praeguseks on neid linna peal 30 tk.
