Geocache Description:

Join us for breakfast at 8 am at a fine Salt Springs eatery. There will be an event only cache in the area that must be found and signed to log the event. I will need a head count for those having breakfast so the "Famous" local eatery can staff accordingly. We will discuss Treading Lightly as it applies to geocaching.

After the event there will be a 4X4 tour of the ONF. The tour will be about 16 miles in length. The tour will take you through Long leaf pine, Scrub Sand pine, and border Mecik Flatwoods and wetland habitats. The tour will monitor CB channel 5 and FRS/GMRS channel 2.
For those who would like to camp, the nearest camping is at Shanty Pond.
