We made this cache close to the highway to give geocachers another one in the area accesible to all, year around. It is less than 100 yards from a short roadside pullout on the east side of the highway, a little further from a longer one on the west side of the highway. The ground is rough, but the walk is short. There is no reason not to expect rattlesnakes here, so keep your eyes and ears open. The land is under the care of BLM and there are no fences.
This is a unique location that people usually drive right by. There are multiple reasons it is special, but I will leave all but the great view up to finders to discover for themselves. Look around a little. The cache is in a rectangular plastic container. Besides the log book there is a little information about the area and the usual assortment of trinkets and baubles.
