Cache is an old camo-wrapped tobacco container (approx 5'x4') and contains a log book, pencil and a few trade goods including a Travel Bug at time of placing.
It is winter friendly and is on the road allowance.
In the winter, we recommend parking at 44 07.748 which is where the snowplow turns around. Cache is only 250 meters beyond this point and is an easy walk down the snowmobile packed roadway. You will hear them coming in plenty of time to get out of their way. Other seasons you can drive to the end of the road where there is a large turnaround, just past Wild Turkey Road.
Wild Turkey Road is NOT maintained and is open only to tractors and other off-road vehicles (but is a beautiful walk in all seasons.)
Wild Turkeys, White-Tailed Deer and other wildlife are plentiful here so Shelley and other dogs will need to be leashed. Also cattle are nearby in their season.
