Just take those old records off the shelf,
I'll sit and listen to 'em by myself,
Today's music ain't got the same soul,
I like that old time rock and roll.
This is the first in our new SONGS WE LOVED series. Bob Seger has probably not hiked the north trail in the Little Manatee River State Park, but our favorite old dance song may play in your head as you smile at this cache named after his song.
To access the 6.2 mile trail you need to visit the ranger station first. It is located off Lightfoot Road where you register, get a map and the combination for the gate.
The trail passes through a variety of ecosystems and provides views of the pristine river. Water, appropriate dress, bug spray and sunscreen are all good ideas.
Please handle the cache carefully and replace exactly as found for the next cacher.
