OHBOY – Old Highways and Backroads Of Yesteryear is a series of caches placed by geocachers in the East Hants area. The series was placed as part of the 2008 Winter Placement Extravaganza (WiPE). The series covers over 60km of backroads and old highways from Brookfield to Elmsdale. This loop will take you over various road types and through assorted terrains. Although there is a well known coffee shop at each end of the loop, there are only a few watering holes along the way and NO gas stations. Please be careful of vehicle and wildlife traffic along the road … some of these stretches can be very tricky during various times of the year.
Enjoy, this is the FIFTH cache of a 6 part Multi.
There are 5 separate caches leading up to the 6th Mystery cache. Each part may be individually logged, and found in any order, however, all 5 MUST be found to find the 6th. All waypoint caches have a log book, and room for some small trade items. The 6th also has the FTF for the whole Multi. All are cammoed Lock & Lock containers.
Inside the lid of each waypoint cache you will find a sequence number and part of the co-ords for the Mystery. IE: #1 Nxx deg, #2 xx minutes, etc. Write down the sequence # and the clue to the co-ords. Have fun and happy caching.
