A look back in time to the days of thunder near the bay and concerts at Marine Stadium.
As a kid my dad used to take me to go see the power boat (Hydroplane) races here. For many years as we all were growing up in Miami the stadium was home to many concerts and power boat events. Log your favorite time if you can remember. Floating with a keg of beer tied up with inflated innertubes, shooting water balloons from boat to boat. Girls gone crazy. And of course some good music. My favorite Hydroplane boat of course Ms. Budweiser, Pay-Day, and later on Circus-Circus. Bands like Molly Hatchet, and Jimmy Buffet. Come check out the Thunder near the bay and remember the good times. The City has plans to make this place like Bayside. Good or bad, come and log your visit. Not enough room on log book to log your good time. So log it when you get back home.
