State Hwy 45 is getting a new cut through backbone Mtn. This section is not open to traffic at this moment. Parking at north or south end on old hwy.
Please don't take the kids on this one. If you have a weak heart, DON'T GO. It is very steep (160 feet) with drop-offs in the cut bank and no edge protection.
Cache is a cammo'ed ammo can with the normal swag. You are welcome to take anything but the rubber stamp which is for folk that letterbox, to stamp their logbooks.
