Hicita: ### Geocache Owner Action Needed ###

We take "needs archive" logs seriously. If you're a new cacher, please use this feature with caution. In many instances, a "needs maintenance" log will suffice rather than jumping to needs archive.

It appears this listing is indicating issues needing addressed by the CO. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident.

Please visit the container quickly when any logs indicate there is a problem. If you're unable to visit the geocache promptly, you'll need to disable the listing.

What to do next?

  1. Post pertinent information with the 'Write Note' log type asap.
(If you're encountering unusual circumstances for ongoing issues, post a note every 30 days so the listing doesn't appear abandoned)
  2. Visit the container and provide maintenance as needed.
  3. Update the posted coordinates (if necessary) making sure they are accurate.
  4. Confirm the geocache's trackable inventory.
  5. After the geocache is up to the standard, then post an Owner Maintenance log.

Geocache Description:

Location is at a monument erected for Hartwell's Revolutionary War Heroine. Inscription reads:"Erected by the government of the United States in the year 1931 to commemorate the heroism of Nancy Hart. During the American Revolution a party of British Tories came to her home. Single handed she killed one and wounded another. The remainder of the party surrendered and were later hanged by her and a few of her neighbors."

**Update 5-24-2016: Hide has changed due to landscaping issues. The original cache here was a homemade very well disguised micro at the monument. I've decided with a few dnf's, some that say they had to give blood and the shrubs being trimmed way back it has compromised the location. So a new out of the way spot has been chosen. Not as clever or cool but a smiley just the same.**

**There you will find the fairly popular urban type hide. **

Please be careful to replace back as found. Permission granted to place cache here by Peggy Tucker. Thank you and Happy caching!
