Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache is a small screw top container, just slightly smaller
than a 35mm film canister.
The cache location is easily accessible from the parking location,
along a permissive path, which meets up with a bridleway a little
further on, offering opportunities for circular walks in the area.
At the start of the path is a map giving more information.
The reason for hiding this cache here, is to share with you the
wonderful views from the top of the hill. Down below is the River
Avon, snaking it's way south from Warwick, through Barford and
Wasperton, on its way to Charlecote. On the horizon you should be
able to make out the tower of St. Mary's, Warwick, some 4 miles
away. To appreciate the views, I recommend you visit in
daylight.
The cache container is firmly fixed in place, just unscrew the lid
and remove the log and pencil taking care not to drop them.
WARNING, the first 10 yards of the
path are very steep and can be slippy, and appropriate footwear is
essential.
