Geocache Description:








     This event is a Meet 'n' Greet--have some breakfast, meet other cachers, trade
     caching stories and TBs. We had so much fun--and met so many folks--at the first
     couple of Pokey Plodders events that we want to do it again and meet more people!

     We're holding it nice and early so that afterwards you can do your usual Saturday
     things--gardening, spring cleaning,maybe a trip to Home Depot or Safeway,
     maybe even some caching--there are some great caches in the area!

     We’re meeting at Machias Depot, a park and trailhead for the Centennial Trail--
     There is a covered picnic area, concession stand and bike rentals, bathrooms,
     children's playground, and plenty of parking at the event site.

     We have lots of new cachers in the area, so please make it a point to invite them.
     Look over the logs for your caches, email finders that you don't know and tell
     them they're welcome to come and meet some of the area cachers.

     Afterwards, there's a rumor that a couple of cachers are bringing their bikes to hunt
     for caches along the Centennial Trail and you are welcome to join them.


Who: Anybody who wants to come and share caching stories, coins and travel
bugs with us. Come meet new and "old" cachers, ask questions about challenge caches, get recommendations for interest-
ing caches, and find out about fun caches for kids--maybe find someone to go along
on your next caching expedition!

What to Bring: Your favorite breakfast beverage, maybe some doughnuts to share, your TBs and coins to share and trade,
your best caching stories and photos, a
bike if you plan to do any cycling on the Centennial Trail

When: Saturday, May 17, 2008, 7-8 am. Make sure to sign the event logbook.
